Future Enhancements: Ordering Parts Online
Future enhancements to the Electronic Tech Manuals include the ability to order replacement parts right from the manual. ETMs can interface with maintenance information systems such as the Aviation Maintenance Integrated Diagnostics System (AMIDS) and the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) to obtain real-time parts availability data and to request resupply.
