TIME Awarded D.O.E. WAN Contract

TIME to Design and Install Cisco Based WAN For D.O.E.

August 27, 1998 - TIME was today awarded a contract to provide an integrated multi service wide area network (WAN) backbone switching system for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in Nevada. The $247,211,00 contract provides for all hardware, software, installation, configuration, network traffic cut-over, and testing and acceptance of the designed and proposed Cisco WAN. The WAN includes the connection of data, voice and video over DS-3 and ATM OC3c circuits. Delivery and installation are scheduled for December 1998.
